Library to Go Moves to Westgate Recreation Center

On May 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the Palm Beach County Library System will hold a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the new location for the Library to Gobook vending machine.

Previously located at the Robert Weisman Governmental Center lobby, the new home for the Library to Go is the Westgate Recreation Center. The machine is centrally located in the gymnasium building, 3691 Oswego Avenue, West Palm Beach, 33409.

With several schools in the area, a steady flow of families, and the beautiful park surrounding the gym, the library is excited to see books reaching our residents in this conveniently located venue.

Similar to a vending machine, Palm Beach County Library System cardholders can borrow new and popular books for all ages from this device. In addition, members can return any library materials to the Library to Go cabinet by using their library card.

Library Director Douglas Crane is thrilled to welcome guests to the new location ribbon cutting. "We're very excited to have the Library to Go be an extension of our services to the Westgate community."
