Davey Names Doyle President of Davey Canada

The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the promotion of James Doyle to President, Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited.

"James will have 37 years of service with the Davey Company this February, having moved up within the organization and held almost every possible role in Residential operations over that period," said Davey Chairman, President and CEO Pat Covey. "For the past decade, James has been the leader and face of Davey's Canadian operations, serving as the company's executive vice president and general manager."

Doyle serves on the Canadian board of directors and is an officer of the Canadian subsidiary and The Davey Tree Expert Company.

Doyle was named vice president and general manager of The Davey Tree Expert Company of Canada, Limited, in 2012, when Davey's previously Western Canada and Eastern Canada operations were combined into one operating group. At that time, Doyle became the first individual to serve as general manager for all Canadian operations. Doyle was named executive vice president and general manager, Davey Canada operations, in 2014.

Doyle is a past director of the International Society of Arboriculture, as well as a past director of the Pesticide Industry Council and the Integrated Pest Management-Plant Health Care Council. He holds an associate degree in forestry from Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and is a Niagara Institute Leadership Development Program graduate.
