Interim Dean Mathbor Co-Authors Article in SAJSSH

Golam Mathbor, Ph.D., interim dean and professor in the School of Social Work, recently co-authored an article in the South Asian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (SAJSSH), Vol, 7 No. 1.

The article, "Strategic Factors of Gen Z's Leadership in Technology-Mediated Student Protests: Empirical Insights from the July Movement in Bangladesh," is co-authored with Muslima Zahan, Ph.D., and Atikur Rahman Khan, Ph.D., associate professors in the Department of Management at North South University in Bangladesh.

The study examines how Generation Z exercised leadership during technology-mediated student protests in Bangladesh from July to August 2024. It also develops a conceptual framework that integrates leadership strategies with technological engagement, offering empirical insights into how Gen Z leverages digital tools to organize effective and socially transformative protest movements.

SAJSSH is a peer-reviewed, open access academic and research journal.
