Gov. Evers Continues to Seek Applicants for Price County District Attorney
MADISON - Gov. Tony Evers today announced he is now accepting applications for Price County District Attorney on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled after he previously began seeking applicants on June 3, 2025.The appointment will fill a vacancy created by District Attorney Matthew McElroy's resignation, effective July 7, 2025. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2029. To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GovDAapp@wisconsin.gov. The application is available on the "Apply to Serve" page of Gov. Evers' website here.
