Sunny Anderson Discusses Ulcerative Colitis in Special Episode of Pfizer’s Women’s Health PodcastUpdates & StatementsDiseases & ConditionsPatient CentricityUlcerative Colitis • • •

Since 2023, Pfizer has enjoyed a partnership with Sunny Anderson, a TV personality and cooking show host who bravely shares her experiences around living with ulcerative colitis (UC). This partnership has helped broaden awareness of the most common form of inflammatory bowel disease, which affects 1.25 million people in the U.S., and in openly sharing her story of 30 years with UC, Sunny is helping reduce the stigma around life with the gastrointestinal condition.

Over the summer, we worked with Sunny to create 'UC UnCensored', a series of conversation cards designed to help spark open and honest dialogue about living with UC, and earlier this month we featured Sunny as a guest on our Women's Health podcast.

Women's Health is your destination for compelling, stand-out series that touch on all aspects of women's health. While each series may focus on a different topic, they're united in their commitment to candid conversations that destigmatize women's health issues and highlight real life people. This podcast feed is powered by Pfizer.

Sunny sat down with board certified gastroenterologist Dr. Aja McCutchen to discuss how this disease specifically affects women and Sunny shares her experience of living loud and proud with UC.

If you've been recently diagnosed, this candid and informative discussion is an excellent starting place as you begin to navigate a life with UC.
