There are several special activities taking place at the library as part of this worldwide event:

Free Comic Books
The library will have a handpicked selection of comic book titles for patrons to take home.

The library's Creation Studio will have supplies to create lightsaber and superhero popsicle stick crafts, as well as coloring pages. In the Creation Corner, you can make your own button.

Do Art Productions is holding a Comic Book Workshop for ages 10 to 18 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Registration is required for this activity. Click here to learn more.

Selfie Station
Once you grab your free comic book or create a craft, snap a picture in the library's selfie station located in the youth area.

Library Card
The library still has Grogu (Baby Yoda) library cards available for any Bettendorf resident. If you already have a Bettendorf library card, you can swap it for the Grogu card.

Free Comic Book Day at the library is open to the public and free to attend, thanks to the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation and support from In This Issue Comics. For more information about this event, click here and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
