DNC Congratulates Sarah Trone Garriott on Her Victory in the Democratic Primary for Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District Arrow

The DNC congratulates Sarah Trone Garriott on tonight's victory in the Democratic primary for Iowa's 3rd Congressional District - a race that will help flip the House of Representatives in November. Democratic voters throughout Iowa turned out to back candidates like Trone Garriott who are focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, fighting for rural communities, and delivering for working families. Tonight's victory comes after she flipped a Republican-held seat in the Iowa State Senate in 2020 and defeated the Republican State Senate president in 2022.
