Lee expands Excel video tutorial library

Tracie Lee

Tracie Lee, a lecturer in the College of Business and Economics, has significantly expanded educational resources for students by recording 21 new Excel tutorial videos for McGraw Hill.

McGraw Hill publishes a wide variety of educational resources for students and educators through its Connect digital learning platform. Lee had previously recorded 71 Excel tutorial videos for McGraw Hill. This Excel tutorials library is accessible for all statistics, analytics and operations and supply chain courses using Connect.

Two of the newest videos are already available for courses using Lind's Basic Statistics for Business and Economics: "Using functions to build a one-way ANOVA model" and "Using functions to build a simple linear regression equation." The tutorials library should be updated across the platform by summer 2026.

Lee is a longtime advocate of multimedia learning tools.

"I loved the opportunity to build an Excel tutorials library," she said. "I've recorded hundreds of my own videos over the years and have seen how videos increase engagement, especially for practical step-by-step guidance on applying statistical concepts."

Lee teaches undergraduate and MBA courses in statistics and supply chain for the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management. She serves as the faculty coordinator for SCM301 Principles of Supply Chain Management, the faculty advisor for the student-led Women in Business Association, and the editor of OMintheNews.com, a faculty-run blog sponsored by McGraw Hill.
