The Garland City Council recently visited with students in the International Leadership of Texas Garland High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC program and toured their facility.
The 13,000-square-foot space features an air rifle range for competitive shooting, an armory, an on-site fitness obstacle course and more. Students in the program participate in drill and color guard teams and compete nationally in academics and cybersecurity.
During the visit, Council members connected with student leaders, took part in team-building activities and even had the opportunity to experience the indoor air rifle range.
