Nighttime Lane Closures at Del Prado and Averill as Construction of New Traffic Signal Continues

Nighttime lane closures will take place at Averill Boulevard and Del Prado Boulevard May 11-15, weather permitting, as construction of a new traffic signal continues.
When traveling through the intersection, motorists should be mindful of traffic pattern changes and abide by posted signage.
Work is scheduled for nighttime to reduce impact to motorists and will include milling, paving, and installation of traffic detection loops. Those traveling to and from the Gator Circle area are encouraged to use the signal at Del Prado Boulevard and De Navarra Parkway.
To ensure the safety of motorists and construction crews, the speed limit on Del Prado Boulevard approaching Averill Boulevard has been reduced from 50 mph to 35 mph.
Construction of this traffic signal is anticipated to be complete this spring.
