What’s Next Knoxville Fall Input Sessions Announced

The City of Knoxville and Knoxville-Knox County Planning are updating the City's Comprehensive Plan - a long-range policy document that will guide decisions on land use, transportation, and investment priorities over the next 25 years.

The process is called "What's Next Knoxville?" and the first round of engagement asked community members what they love about Knoxville, what they want to retain, and what they think should change. Staff attended more than 110 events, engaged over 6,000 people, and more than 1,800 surveys were completed between April - June.

This fall, What's Next Knoxville is hosting another series of input sessions to ask how we should prioritize what we heard in round one while responding to future trends and challenges. The project team will share a draft vision statement and goals, and present different options for Knoxville's future. Anyone interested in weighing in can drop by at their convenience.

Monday September 21:

All activities will also be available on the project website for anyone who is unable to attend in person. Throughout the fall, the project team will attend additional events, present information, and staff the project headquarters to meet and hear from community members across the city.
