Join the Skatepark Pop-up Event to Kick Off the Schuyler Hamilton Jones Skatepark Improvement Process

Join us at the Popup Skatepark Park Event to Help Shape the Future of Schuyler Hamilton Jones Skatepark!

The City of Alexandria's Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities invites you to a dynamic day of fun and community engagement at our Skatepark Pop-up event! This is your chance to share your ideas for potential skatepark improvements while enjoying a fantastic lineup of activities.

  • Schuyler Hamilton Jones Skatepark, 3540 Wheeler Avenue

What's in Store?

  • Skateboarding Lessons:Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our skilled skate instructors will be available from 3-5 p.m. to help you master your tricks.
  • Mobile Art Lab:Let your creativity run wild with hands-on art projects for all ages!
  • Community Engagement:Your voice is crucial! Participate in interactive discussions and share your ideas on upcoming improvements.
  • Snacks and Food Trucks:Enjoy complimentary snacks throughout the event, or purchase a meal from the food trucks on-site while you connect with your community and share ideas.
