Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani will travel to Brussels on Monday to participate in the Foreign Affairs Council.
From Brussels, Minister Tajani will chair a new meeting of the Tariff Task Force with Italian companies to take stock of the situation regarding tariffs, in light of the recent Supreme Court's ruling and the US Administration's decision to temporarily revise tariffs to 10% for the countries that had reached agreements with the United States (including the EU, whose agreement envisaged a 15% tariff).
Approximately 80 trade associations and 40 companies will participate in the Tariff Task Force meeting.
Minister Tajani will also participate in a video conference of the G7 countries in which the Trade Ministers will discuss critical materials, preparatory work for the WTO Ministerial in Yaoundé, and other current international trade issues.
