Many local businesses in downtown Gainesville have decorated their storefronts for the season, and this handy map will show you exactly who they are and where they are located. Explore the map below to see the holiday lights locations across downtown, including those businesses participating in the GCRA's Downtown Holiday Lights Contest. We invite you to come see the magic for yourselves and celebrate the season.

Vote for the 2025 Downtown Holiday Lights Contest

Ten downtown businesses are competing in three categories:

  • Most creative: Imaginative designs that capture the magic of the holidays.
  • Most extravagant: Big, bold and bright - a show-stopping display full of festive flair.
  • Most sustainable: Eco-friendly and inventive, using upcycled or reused materials.

Voting is quick and easy. Browse the photos online, choose your favorite in each category, and submit your choices. Voting is open from Dec. 6, 2025 to Jan. 2, 2026.
