Library Presents AI in Medicine: What Patients Should Know on October 26

Learn about the many ways AI is being used in medicine at 6 pm, Monday, October 26, at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch, 1420 Price Park Rd. AI in Medicine: What Patients Should Know is a presentation by Adora Nsonwu-Farley, a PhD student at Duke University School of Medicine, and Joseph Nsonwu-Farley, a licensed genetic counselor.

Topics will include pregnancy and genetic care to chronic disease management. They will also discuss real-world AI advancements, safety parameters, medical records, diagnosis, and procedures with a focus on what patients should understand to navigate their own care.
