Emirates flight EK304 from Dubai landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 5, carrying 308 passengers, many of whom had been stranded in the UAE for several days due to the ongoing conflict.
In response to the unexpected challenge, Shanghai Pudong International Airport worked closely with customs, immigration, and airline staff members to ensure smooth operations.
Preparations included careful planning for parking spaces, and increased staffing at customs and immigration channels to minimize passenger wait times, thereby facilitating a swift and efficient process for returning travelers.

Upon arrival, ground services staff members were on hand to guide passengers off the plane and offer them a warm welcome home. Special assistance was provided to three passengers traveling with infants, ensuring that they could quickly collect their luggage and reunite with their families.
Pudong Airport will continue to closely monitor flight schedules from the Middle East and collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure passenger safety and smooth travel experiences.
