Mary O’Connor appointed Chair of AXA XL Underwriting Agencies Ltd and AXA XL Insurance Company UK Ltd

Mary O'Connor has been appointed to the Board of AXA XL Underwriting Agencies Ltd and AXA XL Insurance Company UK Ltd (AXA XL UK) as an independent, Non-executive Director and Chair. Ms. O'Connor succeeds Nigel Hinshelwood, who stood down in February 2025.

Mary O'Connor brings with her over 30 years' experience in financial and professional services. Ms. O'Connor is currently Chair of the Audit Committee of Hargreaves Lansdown Group and Chairs the UK regulated business, Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management. She also chairs the Audit and Risk Committees of wealth manager Ascot Lloyd, and serves as a Non-executive Director of Carne Group.
