City to Host Open House for North Elm Street-Pisgah Church Road Intersection Improvement Project

The City of Greensboro's Department of Transportation will host an open house for the North Elm Street-Pisgah Church Road Intersection Improvement Project from 4:30-6:30 pm on Thursday, March 12, at Hillcrest Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3920 Baylor St.

The open house will provide residents with the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the preliminary design plans regarding the proposed intersection improvement project. The project includes widening the roadway to accommodate new turn lanes, construction of concrete medians at intersection approaches, and sidewalk relocation to maintain connectivity and pedestrian crossings. These improvements address safety issues, capacity needs, and operational concerns.

Residents are invited to stop by at any time during the open house to review preliminary design plans, ask questions, provide feedback and speak with the project team.
