The 2026 MMTF weekend is an immersive event for young artists in grades 6-12 and will focus on "sailing the many Cs of theatre," including collaboration, creativity, connection, courage, communication, confidence, compassion and curiosity.
Workshop experience in musical theatre, mindfulness, dance and technical theatre will be presented by professionals in the field, including a keynote experience, awards ceremony, dance party and the continuation of the courageous artist showcase.
MMTF promotes and supports regional performing arts programs by creating development and networking opportunities for young artists and their teachers.
The cost of the festival is $50 and includes refreshments, lunch on Saturday and a festival t-shirt. For more information, contact Nicole Mattis in the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance at [email protected].
