Roadwork Update: Bloomington Reclamite Pavement Preservation Work Scheduled for Next Week

BLOOMINGTON, IL - The contractor for the City of Bloomington's Engineering Department will be installing Reclamite pavement preservation next week in a citywide project affecting various locations throughout the City.

The Bloomington City Council approved a $140,000 contract with Corrective Asphalt Materials, LLC, for this work in May, and it is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27, 2026, weather permitting. The contractor will distribute notices to each property that provide dates and additional information prior to the start of the work on each street.
