Inauguration Location and Logistics Changes

Due to extreme cold weather conditions expected in Washington, D.C., changes have been made to the schedule and logistics for the second Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump on Monday, January 20, 2025. Please review the updated details below:

New Location for the Swearing-In Ceremony
The Swearing-In Ceremony, including the Oath of Office, inaugural prayers, and speeches, will now occur indoors in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. This adjustment ensures the safety of attendees during severe weather conditions.

Alternate Viewing and Parade Location
To accommodate the public, Capital One Arena will host a live broadcast of the ceremony and the Presidential Parade. President Trump will join attendees at the arena following the Swearing-In Ceremony.
