Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus P.Utyupin takes part Belarusian-Tajik inter-ministerial consultations

On September 17, 2025 the next round of the Belarusian-Tajik inter-ministerial consultations was held in Dushanbe with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Pavel Utyupin, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Farrukh Sharifzoda.

The consultations covered a broad range of issues of Belarusian-Tajik cooperation, key areas for its further development were outlined.

The parties expressed their appreciation of the high level of the Belarusian-Tajik dialogue and confirmed their commitment to promote its further development by the foreign ministries of the two countries. They also considered practical aspects of preparing and holding forthcoming joint events.

The same day meeting between the Head of Belarusian delegation and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin took place. The parties stressed the traditionally friendly nature of relations between Belarus and Tajikistan, expressed interest in developing inter-parliamentary dialogue both in a bilateral format and at international venues and discussed a schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest and high levels.
