DCH Dietitian Earns Prestigious Oncology Nutrition Specialist Credential

DCH Health System is proud to recognize Julie Gambril, RDN, LD, on her outstanding achievement in becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO). This prestigious credential reflects Julie's advanced knowledge and expertise in providing nutrition care for individuals affected by cancer.

Julie has been part of the DCH family since 2014 and has served at the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center since January 2016. Her dedication to improving the lives of patients through nutrition support has been evident throughout her career, and this new credential further demonstrates her commitment to excellence in patient care.

With her certification, Julie is now one of only five CSOs in the state of Alabama, making this milestone even more remarkable. Her advanced training ensures that patients at the Manderson Cancer Center receive specialized, evidence-based nutrition care that can aid healing, improve quality of life, and support recovery during cancer treatment.
