Teen Convening 2025

Teen Convening is a two-day conference for public, tribal, and school librarians who work with teens. This year's event will be on April 8 and 9, 2025, at the Galaxy Event Center in Meridian. The theme for this year's convening is Youth Choice, Voice, and Leadership.

There are a limited number of seats available for this event - 30 spaces are designated for public or tribal library staff, and 30 spaces are designated for school library staff. Only one person per library location may register to attend, and attendees are required to attend both days of the event.

Travel costs will be reimbursed for those traveling more than 50 miles to the event, in accordance with the ICfL's Non-Employee Travel (NET) Guidelines. The ICfL will book hotel rooms for those who are travelling more than 50 miles to the event at the Courtyard by Marriott Boise/West Meridian hotel, which is a short drive from the event venue.

Registration for Teen Convening 2025 will open on Monday, January 27 at 12 p.m. MT / 11 a.m. PT. The registration link will be shared on the LibIdaho and Idaho Library Teen Services Listservs and on the Teen Convening 2025 website. You can also find more information about the Teen Convening agenda and other event details on the website.

This should be a fun and engaging experience that will help you build community with teen services' colleagues and better serve teens in your community.
