Chris Tobin Named 2026 Business Insurance Women to Watch Honoree

Public entity specialist and 36-year insurance industry veteran recognized among women leaders shaping risk management, commercial insurance and related fields

IRVINE, CA -Chris Tobin of Alliant Insurance Services was selected by Business Insurance as a 2026 Women to Watch honoree. The annual awards program recognizes women leaders who are advancing the insurance and risk management industry through leadership, expertise and innovation.

As Senior Vice President, Alliant Public Entity, Tobin is responsible for developing and managing large-scale property and casualty insurance programs for a diverse portfolio of public entities, including one of the country's largest hospital group purchase programs. With over 36 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tobin was selected based on her forward-thinking approach to solving complex risk challenges facing mission-driven organizations and her commitment to mentoring and advancing the next generation of insurance professionals.

Tobin is based in Alliant's Irvine, California headquarters. She has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Risk Management Public Entity (ARMPE) designations and was named a 2026 Real Estate Power Broker by Risk & Insurance.

The Women to Watch honorees will be recognized at events in Chicago and London, in October and December, respectively, and profiled in the December 2026 issue of Business Insurance.
