FinTech practice group chair Richard Levin will be speaking at the Digital Assets at Duke (DA@D) Conference this year. The conference takes place in Durham, North Carolina, and will run from Feb. 4 to Feb. 6. Levin's Fireside Chat on Feb. 6 with SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda will discuss SEC's approach to digital assets at a critical moment for U.S. capital markets. Commissioner Uyeda will share his perspectives on the Commission's crypto enforcement and rulemaking agenda, the role of the SEC in overseeing emerging market infrastructure, and the challenges of applying existing securities laws to rapidly evolving technologies such as tokenization and on-chain trading.

Levin is the chair of the FinTech Practice and one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a legal thought leader in FinTech.
