Discover the Holiday Fun!

All activities are subject to change. All centers will be closed Nov. 27-28, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1 for holiday observance. Ninja Turkey Trot and Swim (all ages)

Saturday, Nov. 15, 7:30 a.m. check-in; 8 a.m. race begins.

If you are looking for a Thanksgiving holiday workout challenge - this trot is for you! This is a fun event for the entire family with a half-mile run, 150-yard swim and ninja obstacle course, including the Fun Run *Inflatable! Holiday Float Fest (all ages)

Bring the family to dive into the fun. Enjoy epic games, great holiday music and decor, and the debut of a brand new in water inflatable trampoline! Think you've got the bounce? Pass a quick swim test and jump right in. Deck and shallow water games are available for non-swimmers. All ages and swim abilities are welcome. Participants can bring small pool toys (not water guns, throwing balls or water wings) and a single-person float/inflatable (like a donut or small raft) to use in the pool. Stay afterwards to enjoy open swim for the remainder of the day! Pool toys can only be used until 2:30 p.m.; during the remainder of open swim, inflatables will not be permitted in the water. No pets. Register online or in person on event day. Each child under 7 years old or under 48" tall must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older at all times. One parent per one child, no exceptions. All swimmers must wear suitable swim attire. Ward 5 Annual Holiday Lighting Event

Thursday, Nov. 20, 5 p.m.

Free and open to the public.

Enjoy holiday music, hot chocolate and a special performance by the Western High School Choir. Ward 5 Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong and Cox officials will flip the switch to turn on holiday lights and decorations along Martin L. King Jr. Boulevard.

Enjoy a free classic car show in the Minker Sports Complex parking lot. There is no entry fee for cars, but pre-registration is required by Nov. 20. In partnership with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, frozen turkeys will be accepted to help families in need. The event is co-sponsored by the King of Kings Car Club, Addictive, Black Lowriders Association, Dieiitos Car Club and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

No-School Fun Day

Wednesday, Nov. 26, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

The city of Las Vegas will offer all-day supervised fun, recreation and enrichment for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade when the Clark County School District (CCSD) has staff development days this fall, winter and spring. Prices vary by location. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Note that No-School Fun Days are subject to change, based on changes to the CCSD calendar.
