The War And Treaty’s Soulful Rendition Of Willie Nelson’s Classic “Whiskey River” Available Across All DSP’s

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31 (NEW YORK, NY) - Today, GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM Award-nominated duo The War And Treaty released their stirring rendition of Willie Nelson's "Whiskey River" out now. Originally recorded during the 2023 Luck Reunion on Willie Nelson's iconic ranch in Luck, Texas, the track first debuted as a Spotify Single and is now available across all DSPs. Listen HERE .

During the festival, the duo shared the stage with Willie Nelson & Family, Spoon, Margo Price, and more , delivering a soulful and heartfelt performance. With "Whiskey River," The War And Treaty honor Nelson's enduring legacy while infusing the country classic with their own timeless artistry and sound.

The release follows the husband-and-wife duo's recent CMA Award nomination for 'Vocal Duo of the Year' - their third consecutive nod in the category. Next month, the duo is set to join the legendary Sam Smith for their critically acclaimed To Be Free: New York City residency at Warsaw in Brooklyn. The War and Treaty will join for seven shows, starting November 29 and concluding on December 13.

The War And Treaty are currently on their American Soul Revival Tour with stops at Knuckleheads Saloon in Kansas City, MO, the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC, and The Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA, and more.
