Request for Proposals - Street Sweeping Services

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY
COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC WORKS

CONTRACT NO. 24-188
STREET SWEEPING SERVICES

Notice is hereby given that the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane County, Washington will accept proposals for Street Sweeping Services. The work includes regular maintenance and as-needed cleaning of public streets within the City of Spokane Valley, Washington. Proposals are due no later than 10:00 AM PSDT January 31, 2025.

The initial contract will continue through the end of the 2025 calendar year. Upon mutual party approval, the parties may renew the contract for up to (4) four additional one-year contract terms from 2026 through 2029. The City may also, at its discretion, contract with one or more contractors for the services provided under this request.

Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format only to Shane Arlt & Cory Olson at the emails listed above. Proposals must be received no later than 10:00 AM PSDT, January 31, 2025.

There will not be a public proposal opening. Results will be sent electronically to proposers, if requested.

The City of Spokane Valley reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all proposals. No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.

The City of Spokane Valley, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
