Traffic Signal Testing on Route 140
Wednesday, January 15, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
TAUNTON - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be performing traffic signal testing on Route 140 at Industrial Drive in Taunton. The work will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15. Lane closures will be in place on Route 140. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed.
At least one lane of travel will be maintained at all times, and police will assist with traffic control and safety setups.
Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
