Caltrans Invites Public to Attend Public Meeting for Marin City Second Culvert Project on Wednesday, June 18

Published: Jun 17, 2025

Marin County - Caltrans (District 4, Bay Area) invites the community to join a public meeting for the Marin City Second Culvert Project on Wednesday, June 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for open house) at the Marin City Senior Center, 640 Drake Ave, Marin City, CA. 94965.

The Marin City Second Culvert Project on US-101 proposes to build a new drainage system, including a 6-by-4 culvert that will help mitigate flooding in the Marin City area. The location is near Marin City from Donahue Street to 0.3 miles north of Donahue Street.

The culvert would convey stormwater flows from west of US-101 to Richardson Bay in Marin City.

The project would also replace damaged storm drainpipes in the US-101/Donahue Street interchange area and repair uneven pavement on US-101 within the project area.

At this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the project and ask questions.
