Court finds that the reporting law does not delve into sharing plans' purposes, goals, and objectives.

DENVER - The United States District Court for the District of Colorado has denied a motion by the Alliance of Health-Care Sharing Ministries for a preliminary injunction in its lawsuit against Colorado Insurance Commissioner Michael Conway. The court found "The Reporting Law does not delve into sharing plans' purposes, goals, and objectives-it simply seeks data germane to documented consumer protection concerns." The court also stated that the Alliance did not make ".... a showing-strong or otherwise-that it is likely to succeed on the merits of any of its claims."
