US 301 Four Day Closure starts Sept. 23 South of Jesup
JESUP, GA - Georgia DOT announces US 301 is scheduled to close September 23 through September 26 located south of Broadhurst Road in Wayne County. The closure is required for the installation of a new cell tower.

Utility contractors will install the road closure with signed detour route as equipment will be blocking the roadway. Traffic will be detoured via SR 32 and US 84. US 301 will remain open to local traffic up to the work zone. The roadway will reopen early if the work is completed ahead of schedule or could possibly be closed longer if weather delays the work.

Advisory: Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
