DCSA, industry partners strengthen ties at NCMS Seminar

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) demonstrated its commitment to customer partnership and service improvement at the 2026 NCMS Annual Training Seminar, June 8 - 11.

Representatives from DCSA's Office of Customer Success, National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), Personnel Vetting and Industrial Security, met with security professionals to gather feedback, resolve issues in real-time and strengthened connections with industry partners.

Throughout the seminar, the recurring theme was partnership. DCSA representatives hosted discussions with Facility Security Officers and industry leaders on critical topics including NBIS, Defense Information System for Security and policies like reciprocity.

"DCSA's presence was a true difference maker," said Eric Crytzer of the Industry Liaison team. "More than 1,000 personnel attended our [Industry Liaison] Personnel Security Updates brief and we sat down with more than 300 attendees at our help desk-a 43% increase in foot traffic from 2025! Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive and appreciative, and we're already looking forward to next year's event in Dallas."

Mike Faller's presentations on NBIS updates also showed high interest, with more than 400 participants seeking the latest information on the system. Other key sessions featured updates on National Industrial Security Program Operations, Facility Security Clearances and Sponsorships, and the National Access Elsewhere Security Oversight Center.

Attendees highlighted exactly why DCSA's attendance was so important and necessary at this year's Seminar, remarking on the ability to receive timely assistance, guidance and support directly from the DCSA representative team.

These interactions underscore DCSA's aim of placing the customer at the center of its transformation efforts. By embedding its representatives in key industry events like the NCMS Seminar, DCSA is fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability to enable our nation's security enterprise.
