Keep Tyler Beautiful announces 2026 Recycled Art Contest: 'Happy Birthday, America'

Keep Tyler Beautiful is inviting Tyler-area artists of all ages to showcase their creativity and environmental awareness in the 2026 Recycled Art Contest, themed "Happy Birthday America." In celebration of America's 250th birthday, artists are encouraged to create original works of art that honor the nation while promoting sustainability.

Participants are challenged to use recycled and repurposed materials such as bottle caps, plastic, metal, paper, cardboard and other found items to create their artwork. Submissions should reflect patriotic spirit, creativity and a commitment to reducing waste.

The top three winners in each category will have their artwork displayed at Keep Tyler Beautiful's Great Tyler Clean Up on April 11 and will receive certificates and prizes. Winners will be announced following judging.
