The Lincoln Police Department today released results of a comprehensive traffic enforcement project that ran from June 1 to August 31. Officers to worked overtime patrolling high-traffic corridors and areas prone to serious collisions, focusing on one of the primary contributing factors in fatal traffic crashes - speed.
This high-visibility campaign was funded by our safety partners at the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
