Meanwhile, Michigan Tech (7-2, 4-1 GLIAC) enters the game aiming for at least a share of the GLIAC championship and a berth in the Division II playoffs.

Grand Valley holds a 33-4 advantage in the all-time series and has won the last nine meetings.
