As we approach the festive season, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes to all residents of Worcestershire. Christmas is a time for reflection and gratitude. It is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of our communities, the kindness of neighbours, and the resilience we have shown throughout the year.
Across our towns and villages, we see countless examples of people supporting one another whether through volunteering, caring for loved ones, or simply offering a smile and a word of encouragement. This spirit of compassion and solidarity is what makes Worcestershire such a special place to live.
I hope that this Christmas brings joy, peace, and rest to you and your families. For those who may find this time of year more difficult, please know that your community stands with you, and that support and friendship are never far away.
Looking ahead to the New Year, I am confident that together we can continue to build a healthier and more connected Worcestershire.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Councillor Louis Stephen, Chair of Worcestershire County Council
