At the Sept. 9 meeting, Menlo Park City Council presented the National Night Out block party captains with a special proclamation to recognize their outstanding commitment to fostering neighborhood spirit and promoting public safety. The City Council celebrated their leadership in hosting a National Night Out block party this year. This special recognition highlights the time, energy and heart these eight community members invested in building a safer, stronger and more connected community.
Police Chief David Norris, Internal Services Manager Nicole Acker and Management Analyst Mayra Lombera accepted the proclamation along with block party organizers Matt Burr, Juanita Croft, Brian Kissel and Dorene Martinez.
