Your Voice on EU Enlargement: call for organisations to host outreach and engagement events

The European Commission has launched "Your Voice on EU Enlargement", a call for applications to organize outreach and engagement events on EU enlargement in EU Member States.

The call aims to support organisations that want to bring the debate on a future EU with more member states closer to citizens and local communities. Events should help participants better understand how new countries join the EU, the current candidate countries, and what enlargement of the EU brings in terms of opportunities and challenges linked to a larger Union. They should also create space for open and respectful discussion, allowing citizens, stakeholders and organisations to exchange views.

Events may take different formats, including debates, workshops, conferences, roundtables, exhibitions, cultural events or activities organised alongside existing local events. They should take place between September and December 2026.

The call is open to organisations, with joint applications encouraged, including partnerships between organisations in EU Member States and candidate countries. Selected events can receive a financial contribution proportionate to their scale and format, up to a maximum of EUR 20 000.

Applications should be submitted via the link below by midnight 31 July 2026. Applications will be evaluated by DG ENEST and its contractor, and successful applicants are expected to be informed by mid-August 2026.
