UW and Wyoming APEX Accelerator to Host FOCI Webinar Feb. 18

Small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups will have an opportunity to learn about foreign ownership, control or influence in federal contracting during a webinar Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The Wyoming APEX Accelerator will sponsor "Understanding Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) in Federal Contracting," a webinar scheduled 11 a.m.-noon. To register, go here. The event is co-hosted by the Montana APEX Accelerator.

Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state's expert in government contracting assistance.

During the webinar, attendees will receive a high-level overview of FOCI. This session will demystify the concept, explain compliance requirements and outline practical steps to identify and mitigate potential FOCI risks. Whether a business is currently contracting with the federal government or exploring new contract opportunities, this webinar will help businesses strengthen their readiness and protect their eligibility in the federal marketplace.
