BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Honoring the academic accomplishments of the class of 2026, Bowling Green State University will hold its Summer Commencement exercises on Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8, outdoors on the Bowling Green campus.
The 316th Commencement celebration at Bowling Green will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 7 with the Doctoral Hooding and Graduate College Ceremony for doctoral and master's degree candidates on the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle. As part of the ceremony, doctoral degree candidates will be hooded as they cross the stage.
The Undergraduate Ceremony for all bachelor's and associate degree candidates will start at 9 a.m. on Aug. 8, also on the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle.
In total, the Summer 2026 graduating class at Bowling Green consists of 935 candidates, of which 132 will be presented associate degrees, 390 will be presented bachelor's degrees, 314 with master's degrees and 104 with doctoral degrees.
For graduates or guests unable to attend, ceremonies will be livestreamed on the BGSU YouTube channel and at BGSU.edu/Commencement.
