Van Hollen Statement on Return of Chantal Anicoche
Today, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) released the following statement on the return of Chantal Anicoche to the United States:
"I've spoken with Chantal and am pleased that she is back home and safe with her family. I'm grateful to all those in our communities for their efforts in supporting her return. Chantal and her family reiterated to me their request for privacy, but I know we are all relieved that she is safe."
