The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) respectfully submits comments regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposal to extend the compliance deadline for PFOA and PFOS Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs).1 ACWA appreciates EPA's efforts to provide water systems a more realistic regulatory compliance schedule to finance and implement federal drinking water standards for PFOA and PFOS.
