Robert Ruh, who was promoted to Brown Rudnick's partnership earlier this year, was featured in Law.com's "How I made Partner" series.
Ruh noted that Brown Rudnick's collaborative ethos and dynamic practice were key factors in his decision to join the firm as an associate in 2020. Ruh was promoted to partner in February 2025.
Ruh highlighted the importance of mentorship, and discussed his early days at Brown Rudnick working with Adam Schoen, co-practice group leader of Brown Rudnick's Global Intellectual Property Practice Group and Global Life Sciences Group. Ruh shared, "Adam started pushing me to think about and work towards partnership. When asked for advice to associates looking to make partner, Ruh stated that one must "learn the work you're doing inside and out. Ultimately, a partner reliant on your work is a partner who will want you in the partnership."
