UNF ranked among the nation’s 2027 “Best Colleges” by U.S. News & World Report

The University of North Florida is ranked among the best national universities in U.S. News & World Report's 2027 edition of "Best Colleges" for the eighth consecutive year.

UNF moved up 16 spots on social mobility to No. 109. The social mobility score is evaluated by factors such as the graduation rates of Pell Grant recipients, and how they compare to the graduation rates of other students at the school.

The University is also recognized for excellence in its undergraduate business, computer science, nursing, engineering and psychology programs.

The rankings come at an exciting time for the University, which is experiencing record-breaking milestones this fall, including the highest total enrollment of more than 18,900 students. UNF also ranked 58th among 210 public college and universities nationwide in TIME's inaugural America's Best Colleges 2026-27.

U.S. News publishes the Best Colleges rankings each year to provide prospective students and their families with the comparative merits of the undergraduate programs at America's colleges and universities. The rankings offer detailed information about the institutions and data on factors such as graduation rates and post-graduate earnings, emphasizing student outcomes, academic resources and expert opinion.
