DGA Statement on Vivek Ramaswamy's Disgusting New Attack

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement on Vivek Ramaswamy's disgusting ad featuring Dr. Amy Acton's estranged and abusive birth mother:

"Vivek Ramaswamy should be ashamed of himself for giving airtime to yet another person who was complicit in acts of horrific sexual abuse - this time against Dr. Acton herself. This is part of a disturbing pattern from Ramaswamy, who has mocked Dr. Acton for being an abuse survivor and just last week released an ad featuring a convicted child sex offender.

"With this disgusting attack, and the relentless smear campaign leading up to it, Vivek Ramaswamy has shown that there is no depth he will not sink to if it serves his own ambitions. Ohioans deserve a governor who will fight to keep them safe. Instead, by making light of abuse and giving a pass to creeps and predators, Ramaswamy continues to prove that he is totally unfit to be governor."
