McCombie Launches Valentines for Seniors Program

January 9, 2026

House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is launching her fourth annual "Valentines for Seniors" Card Drive. Leader McCombie is thrilled to again offer the program and invites Northwest Illinois residents to join her in helping spread the love this holiday.

Leader McCombie encourages community members, church groups, schools, and residents to participate in the Card Drive by dropping off Valentine's Day cards or mailing them to her district office in Savanna. Once the cards are collected, they will be delivered to senior citizens in communities across Northwest Illinois, including senior living facilities.

"There is no better way to kick off the year than spreading love and joy throughout our communities in northwest Illinois," said McCombie. "Each year this program grows - and I am continually impressed with the help from across the 89th District to make the day of a fellow resident."

Valentine's Day cards will be accepted through Wednesday, February 7. Participants may deliver the cards in person on Thursdays or mail cards to State Representative Tony McCombie, 9317B IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074.
