LEADER JEFFRIES ANNOUNCES COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT FOR CONGRESSMAN CHRISTIAN MENEFEE

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced today that the House Democratic Caucus has approved Christian Menefee to be appointed to the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

Congressman Menefee is an accomplished attorney, experienced policymaker and fierce fighter for the health, safety and well-being of the people he is privileged to represent. His understanding of NASA's importance to Houston and his proven ability to hold those in power to account, including on critical issues related to the environment, make him especially capable of conducting the necessary oversight, implementing the proper guardrails and creating much-needed frameworks as technology and innovation continue to transform our nation.
