The Advisory Groups foster cooperation between law enforcement agencies and academia to strengthen internet security, telecommunications and financial services.

The purpose of the 'Research and Development' group, of which BFH is a member, is to get a clear overview of the needs and priorities of law enforcement agencies in their cross-border fight against cybercrime:

  • Support law enforcement agencies (LEA) investigating and combating cybercrime at a technical level
  • Enhance cybercrime awareness among the academic and research partners to identify and facilitate research projects and educational curricula tackling cybercrime, addressing both national and international contexts.
